Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Estimates are free, and you're under no obligation to hire us. We'll talk through your project's scope and budget so you know what you're looking at before you decide.
How much will my project cost?
It depends on size, materials, site conditions and whether we find hidden damage like rotted framing or subfloor. We don't quote blind, so a free estimate is how you get a real number. Larger projects are paid with a deposit and progress payments tied to completed milestones, and we accept debit and credit cards.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. For contracted construction projects, we manage the required permits and inspections as your licensed North Carolina general contractor. Requirements vary by project and location, and we'll tell you what yours needs.
Will you help with my insurance claim for storm damage?
Yes. We inspect the storm damage and assist you with the claim process. Your insurance company makes the final coverage decision, and we'll explain what we found and what the repair involves.
What happens if something isn't right after you finish?
Call us. AGCS stands behind all completed workmanship, and your written contract spells out the warranty coverage for your project, including any manufacturer warranties on materials.
Do you take on small repair jobs?
Generally not on their own. Isolated handyman work isn't our focus, but smaller items are generally accepted as part of a larger construction scope. If you're not sure where your project fits, call and we'll tell you honestly.
